3 year old Shaula aka “Squirt” made an amazing recovery after she and 4 of her kennelmates were found near death from starvation & dehydration at the hands of their trainer.
Found October 29, 2010 with duct tape wrapped around her neck, Squirt was held in Florida as State’s evidence during the trial. After over a year, she made the trip to Greyhound Rescue & Rehab, arriving safely December 17, 2011.
May we never forget the 32 greyhounds that weren’t as lucky as Squirt.
Watch the heart warming video of her very happy arrival in NY, adoption and journey HOME, January 5, 2012.
